FORESTER PURCELL STOWELL’s commitment to community runs deep. Sharing our time and talents to help those most in need  — through volunteerism and pro bono legal assistance — grounds our firm culture.

Dedication to WEAVE Since 2006

  • WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.
  • We helped to launch and now oversee WEAVE Legal, a provider of free and low-cost legal services for eligible domestic violence victims.
  • We provide complimentary workshops to the public on topics ranging from domestic violence restraining order applications and divorce paperwork to understanding the child custody process and advocating for your children.
  • Neil Forester currently serves on WEAVE’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee (President), Programs Committee, and chairs the Legal Committee; he previously served on the Facilities Committee during construction of a new WEAVE Safehouse.
  • Our legal team annually sponsors and participates in WEAVE’s fundraisers, including, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes and Feast for WEAVE.
